Vivo Nex 2 with dual-displays will launch in China on December 11. It may come with two screens and triple rear cameras and 10 GB RAM.
Teasers and press render of the Vivo Nex 2 have been leaked online on Vivo’s own China website ahead of the launch. The handset is speculated to arrive Ice Blue and Star Purple gradient color options.
The front of the device is nearly bezel-less, with no notch as we believe there is no front camera at all. Instead, there is another screen on the back of the device, which is not bezel-less. If you look closely, you can also spot the triple camera setup housed within the strange camera bump. The triple rear camera setup is rumored to come in a standard, wide and telephoto lens setup. The Nex 2 is also expected to sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, up to 10GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The front display is also expected to be an AMOLED display. The device is also rumored to sport an in-display fingerprint sensor under the front display. The rear screen of the Vivo NEX 2 is rumored to be of 5.5-inches which suggest that front display could be of 6.5-inches

Meanwhile, the company is already teasing the Vivo NEX 2 on Chinese TV and social media, with the video above.
This isn’t the first dual-screen smartphone of its type we’ve seen this year, as the Nubia X was launched last month. The Nubia device features a second display that camouflages into the phone’s rear cover, making for a rather striking effect. Going back even further, we’ve seen the YotaPhone and Hisense A2 series, offering e-ink displays on the back for reading and other tasks.
