Samsung has launched
So these three new phones, each of them is familiar in many ways but each of them also has their differences so we’ll first focus on the two main ones that are the Galaxy S10 and S10+. click here for S10E impressions.
The design of both the smartphones looks pretty neat at cool. S10+ gets ceramic back instead of glass on S10. talking about the -, There are three main improvements and a lot of small ones but the main ones are the
- Fingerprint Sensor
The new Samsung Galaxy S10 got a 6.1-inch display and 6.4-inch display in the S10+ and they continue the tradition of Samsung having literally the best displays in any phone for a couple years running now and it continues to get even better. the S10 and S10+ have 90+ %screen to body ratio and have a super-high resolution with a 19:9 tall aspect ratio. but still it goes right up to the very edges and you have of course your camera cutout right there in the top right corner.
Both smartphones utilize Samsung’s new “Dynamic AMOLED” Infinity-O display technology They are the first screens HDR 10+ certified which means you’ll see sharper details with incredible color accuracy.
The Galaxy S10 has a single 10-megapixel selfie camera while the S10+ gets an additional 8MP RGB depth sensor next to it. The Front camera is housed inside the punch hole which is precision laser cut, the camera has been discreetly tucked away within the display without sacrificing photo quality.-
At the rear, there are three cameras now, and they’re placed horizontally like on the Galaxy Note 9 rather than vertically. The 3 cameras include one main 12 MP wide-angle camera which has a variable aperture of f/1.5 or f/2.4 and supports OIS. then there is a 2x zoom 12 MP Telephoto sensor of aperture f/2.4 and has OIS and 3 last there is a 12MP super wide angle sensor(123°) of aperture f/2.2. You can seamlessly zoom between the cameras
The Galaxy S10 and S10+ features a new fingerprint sensor now they moved to the ultrasonic under the glass fingerprint reader which is pretty dope so the word ultrasonic there, that’s not just a name they’re just making up – that actually means something as far as the technologies useful for us. so we’ve had under the glass fingerprint sensors in phones before namely in phones like the OnePlus 6T but they’ve mostly been optical fingerprint sensors – shining a light on your finger to actually read your fingerprint.
These ultrasonic ones don’t use that so they have a couple of advantages
- They are faster.
- They don’t need to shine up super bright light on your finger to read it so it’ll be way less annoying in dim light or at night.
- it can read the fingerprints before waking up the display at all.
The S10, S10+, and S10E are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor and S10 and S10+ are available with 8 gigs of RAM and 128 gigs of onboard storage. but there’s also an 8GB / 512GB version then the S10+ an 8GB / 512GB version or a ridiculous 1 terabyte model with 12GB of RAM. Plus you get 512GB of expandable of expandable storage. The Galaxy S10 is now backed by a 3400mAh battery and Galaxy S10+ gets a 4100 mAh battery.
