The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro comes with an IPS LCD display having a 6.26-inch screen. It has a screen resolution of 1,080 x 2,280 pixels, along with a pixel density of 403 PPI and a maximum brightness of 500 nits. The 2.5D curved edges help the display glass meet the frame of the phone smoothly.
The main highlight of this phone and the main difference between its predecessor is that it now got Quad cameras– 2 on the front and two at the rear. and a slightly bigger display with a notch design.– If you don’t like the notch, there is an option to hide it. The Redmi Note 6 Pro comes with a 12MP + 5MP camera configuration on the rear. The primary camera supports dual-pixel autofocus feature (basically better focus speed in low light) and has a lens with a wide aperture of f/1.9, while the secondary camera uses a 5-megapixel sensor for depth sensing. On the front, the Redmi Note 6 Pro sports the main camera that uses a 20-megapixel sensor and secondary camera with a 2-megapixel sensor for portrait selfies. There are also AI smarts like scene detection and adjustable bokeh with interesting features like studio lighting and all.
The Redmi Note 6 Pro is still stuck with the generation-old octa-core- (1.8 GHz, Quad core, Kryo 260 + 1.6 GHz, Quad core, Kryo 260) processor with Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset. It has Adreno 509 GPU.the phone will be available in two variants – one with 4GB RAM/64GB storage, while the second model packs 6GB RAM and 64GB storage, which is expandable by up to 256GB. The Redmi Note 6 Pro packs a massive 4000mAh battery and comes with Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 support.
Redmi Note 6 Pro runs MIUI 10 Global ROM, though this is based on Android Oreo for now. Xiaomi is set to roll out an Android Pie update for its MIUI. By default, Redmi Note 6 Pro has the older buttons format available. But the interface now has improved gestures under the full-screen mode.
Though the Redmi Note 6 Pro any kind of an IP-rating for dust/ water resistance, it does sport a water-repellant P2i coating, which should provide basic protection against spills and if you are caught in the rain.
The Note 6 Pro will go on sale in India, possibly at a price of Rs 17,999 or Rs 16,999, from November 23. and will be available in four colors: Red, Blue, Black, and Rose Gold.
