Mahindra announced its new upcoming premium MPV – codenamed U321- officially named as “Marrazzo”. The name is derived from the Basque word ‘Marazzo’, which means ‘shark’ and the vehicle design is inspired from a shark. The Mahindra Marazzo is the first passenger vehicle developed jointly by Mahindra Research Valley in Chennai, India and Mahindra North American Technical Centre in Michigan, USA.
Mahindra has revealed some images of Marrazzo which shows the front grille of Marazzo inspired from shark teeth, in fact, the tail lamp is inspired from the sharks tail section and the shark-fin inspired antenna.

the instrument cluster of this vehicle looks like a combination of purple and blue.
and all the seats are built from premium leather but the special feature for the second row and third-row passengers seats are the well-positioned ac vents.
The ac vents are positioned vertically across the cabin’s length. and the company named this technology as “Industry First Cool Surround Technology”. It will also get the brand’s latest infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, steering mounted audio controls, automatic climate controls, etc.
The vehicle will be launch in 2 versions 7 and 8 seaters. The 7 seaters will have the 2nd row as captain seats(individual seats) like other MPV’s. and the 8 seaters will be going to have bench seats on 2nd and 3rd row.
According to the company’s claim, the Marazzo will be the largest footprint of any Mahindra vehicle till now. That means it will be having the largest wheelbase and going to provide the best space for the passengers.
The company didn’t reveal exact information about the engine but they said that it will going to have all new engine and will be build on a new platform.(it may get 1.6L mFalcon diesel engine with six-speed manual gearbox, while an automatic unit could also be on offer. )
Mahindra has officially confirmed that Marazzo will go on sale before Diwali, by the end of this quarter between September-October.
